Jody and her not-so-text-book feet

Jody, an 18 year old Standardbred riding mare, has a metabolic condition that is creating some very challenging hoof conditions to work with.  She grows NO hoof between cycles, her flat soles are prolapsed and she has mechanical separation around the wall from heel to heel. Solving Bella’s Lameness

Bella came to a customer fresh from a long spell with shoes left on – not such a great idea. She has flat feet with poor structure and under run heels. Both front feet had wet corns and she was not at all comfortable to be ridden. Corns are the bruising you can see circled
